I’m explaining the main features of the blog in this article: Google AdSense Every person thinks what’s benefits of a blog are. The main benefit of a blog is you can earn money through a blog without any investment. Google AdSense is a tool provided by Google. Through this, you can earn money as well as a huge number of followers. Google AdSense is an advertisement/add provided by Google. It will put on your blog. When any visitor visits your blog and reads the article, on the same page you can put a number of advertisements published by Google. During the reading article, visitors see advertisement this is known as Impression. For 1000 impression, Google will pay money to you. If any visitor clicks on an advertisement, it is known as Advertisement Click. You can earn money from every click. Google AdSense feature available on Google Blog. In Google AdSense, there are many sizes of advertisement like 160*600 wide skyscraper, 300*250 medium rectangle, 728*90 leader board and so on. Many people are afraid of the approval of Google AdSense. Don’t get afraid. Google is user-friendly and it will approve those blogs who are user-friendly and those who do not include adult content. You have to consider a few points before sending approval for your Blog AdSense. High-Quality Content Google will approve those types of blogs who have unique content because Google loves fresh content. Mostly bloggers spin their content or use duplicate content and put on the blog. This is the wrong technique to run your blog. It is also known as Black Hat Technique in SEO/Digital Marketing. Word Limit of Article New bloggers write 300-400 words and put copyright images on the blog. This is not the right way to represent your blog. Always write 1300-1500 words articles on your blog and don’t use copyright images (copyright images are those images where company name mention on image). Google gives priority to those blogs who have set this word limit. Privacy Policy, About Us & Contact Us Page Privacy Policy Page means you are not doing any spam and you are providing relevant information to the online public. About Us Page mainly describe you and your blog. It will establish a relationship between you and your reader. Through this reader can trust you. In Contact Us page you should mention your official email id like abc@company.com. In this, you will provide social networking pages navigation. Like, Facebook page, Twitter page link. You will also provide contact form through this reader mention his views about your blog and any changes in a blog he can easily talk to you. In this article, I’m explaining many characteristics of the blog but Google AdSense is the main feature of the blog and plays a vital role in the blog. Schedule Post Another characteristic of a blog is Schedule Post. This feature is very useful in the blog. You can post an article, pictures, and jokes and schedule it. If tomorrow your schedule will busy and you can’t post. Then you can post today and schedule for tomorrow. If your blog readers live in the US and you live in the UK. So, you can easily schedule your post according to US timing. Through this, your readers will get article time to time and frequency and recency of your blog will maintain. This feature available on Facebook also but Twitter removed this feature. Statistics One more advantage of a blog is Statistics. This feature plays a vital role in the blog. Through this, you can easily check how many pages views on your website on a daily basis. Statistics will represent which country audience visits your blog like US, Russia, India. Through which browser reader comes to your blog like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox. Which operating system (OS) visitor used like Windows, iPhone, and Android. In the below image, blog statistics represent. Statistics also provide Traffic Sources feature on the blog. In this, you can check from which website user visit your blog. Like, visitor visits your blog through Facebook post or visit through Google or directly come to your blog. Traffic source feature also provides keyword details. Keywords mean visitor query. A visitor found your blog through which keyword like “best laptop” keyword. Statistics also provide how many pages views on every post. Through this, you can check which post get higher page views and which posts get how many comments. This is very beneficial for your blog. If a large number of visitors visit a single post then you can promote this post on social media through this your post gets higher visitors. Change Blogger to Custom Domain Every blogger faces this problem. Every blogger wants to remove .blogspot from blog URL. In professional blogs, .blogpost not looks nice. So, blogger buys a domain as per his need like .com, .au, .us. After buying a domain name you can easily change your current URL to the new URL. For Example, if your blog URL is abc.blogspot.com and your new custom domain name is abc.com. So, you can easily change into a new domain with the use of blog and domain provider. Campaign The campaign is a very good feature of the blog provided by Google. Through this, you can increase your website traffic and you have to pay for it to Google. It is also known as SEM (Search Engine Marketing). It is paid and through this, you can run your blog advertisement on SERP (Search Engine Result Page). If you want to promote your blog and increase the number of the audience then you have two options. First, start doing SEO (Search Engine Optimization). It is an organic way for promotion of blog/website and it is an unpaid part. It is time-consuming but it gives long term benefits. Second, you run an advertisement for your blog/website on Google, which is paid part. You can run add/advertisement through Google Ads. It is also known as PPC (Pay Per Click). In this, you pay money to Google when a visitor clicks on your website. In Google search engine, 10 unpaid/organic websites and 7 advertisement websites display on the 1st page of Google. Google AdWords is too costly and rates of the click are not fixed it depends upon your keywords which you selected. In AdWords, mostly businessman selects daily budget method. In this, you have to mention the daily budget like $100 per day. When $100 spent than your advertisement will not display. One main drawback of AdWords is your competitor will waste your budget. He will click on your advertisement through this your daily budget will over and you will not get a beneficial audience. In blogs, only 1-2% people use AdWords because it is too costly and the main use of Google Ads is in businesses to expand business and generate leads. I will never recommend bloggers to choose Google Ads for your blog.
